This design draws its origins from a cat illustration published in the March 1896 issue of The Black Cat (Vol. I, No. 6), a Boston literary magazine known for its fantastical short stories and delightfully strange imagery. Now reimagined in embroidery form with the words MISCHIEF & MAYHEM—a declaration of intent.

• 90% Cotton, 10% Polyester

🧵 CARE 🧵

• Machine wash cold, inside out
• Gentle cycle recommended
• Tumble dry low or hang to dry
  

Do NOT iron directly on embroidery! If needed, use a steamer to smooth out the garment—light steaming can also help relax any minor puckering around the embroidery and keep the fabric looking fresh without damaging the stitching.
